the question is why people writing on the Rhizome list continue to function
in this way. Are the new mediums supposed to be different or not? Is this
list really that different from the phantasmagoria of hollywood and the
associated media? Or are the new media just a continuation of the
reactionary phantasies of the wired contingent?
