We are please to announce that sound artist and writer Brandon LaBelle http://www.errantbodies.org/labelle.html will be curating the eight Sonic Supper compilation. All sounds received by December 15, 2004 will be considered. Submissions that navigate the following frame will be closely considered:

Sonic Supper #8: dead air
a break in transmission, a lapse in the system, a crack in the sidewalk: the void, the empty space, without message, pure signal carrying no voices only itself, as hiss full of phantasms, static from no-body, lifeless broadcasts.
bring dead air to life: map, chart, define, probe, amplify, fill, play, perform the crack, the pause, the silent space, the in-between, are there ghosts in there?
