FITC Background

FITC Toronto was launched in 2002 as a way to build and grow a strong community within the Canadian Interactive industry. Held at the Design Exchange in downtown Toronto, this inaugural event drew attendees from across Canada and the USA, and was a SOLD OUT success.

Considered the flagship event of all FITC events, FITC Toronto has grown into an international celebration of the world's top interactive and new media talent. The last FITC Toronto, held at the Hilton Hotel in April 2009, was attended by over 1,200 designers and developers, representing over 27 different countries.

In addition to Toronto, FITC has presented events in Amsterdam, Chicago, Hollywood, New York, Seoul and Winnipeg. FITC produced events continue to grow in attendance and reputation, making FITC one of the top companies producing events for the design and technology community.
