Announcing the Banff New Media Institute’s 15th installment of Interactive Screen. Part new media summit, part project development workshop, Interactive Screen takes place at The Banff Centre at the end of every summer. Following on last year’s theme of “The Makers,” Interactive Screen 1.0: Beautiful Lives looks at the way media and technology intersect with our aspirations and ambitions, individual or collective, for the betterment of life. Join a world’s worth of media makers, thinkers, and movers, and see what happens.
New media makers interested in developing a creative project or reflective essay related to this year’s theme are encouraged to apply to the Interactive Screen Scholarship Intensive.
Scholarship application deadline: July 13, 2010.
