With seemingly untroubled panoramas, Clown Torture and a city packed with questions WatSpinoza? challenges you to respond to the abundance of controversial questions based on the thoughts and views of philosopher Spinoza. Reply via sms, via website www.watspinoza.nl and on the multiple chalkboards at the exhibition. www.mediamatic.net/watspinoza

The exhibition starts of with three nights of Parallax by Zhana Ivanova. A performance about perception and freedom. During WatSpinoza? you can perform in Re:Parallax, the re-enactment of this performance.
Re-enactment is also desired with Clown Torture (1985) by Bruce Nauman. Read our call reproduce the original work by Nauman during the WatSpinoza? exhibition!

Opening hours WatSpinoza?
WatSpinoza? 13th of May to 28th June 2009 at Mediamatic BANK. Wed - Fri from 12.00 to 20.00 and Sat + Sun 12.00 - 18.00. No admission. From May 20th you can participate in Re:Parallax.
