the heap presents: altered egos

Space Gallery - San Francisco - Friday May 1st - 8pm-2am

A mysterious media collective will be exhibiting and curating 'Altered Egos'; a show of new works in the Tenderloin on Friday May 1st at Space Gallery. A multi-disciplinary art, sound, and video event aims to highlight work that viscerally confronts the audience with reflections on ego. The Heap's emphasis on work with interactive, self-reflexive, and experiential components have the potential to create an environment that includes the viewer as an integral component to the work.

Sound artists include: Thomas Dimuzio, Nero's Day at Disneyland, Celine Dion, Coconut, and Spider Compass Good Crime Band. DJ's Fontana Williams and Primo tie the room together.

Visual works include those of Liz Maher, Bonnie Banks, Chris Basmajian, Grant Earl Levalley, Scott Moffett, Zach Nash, Jason Gowens, Scott Brown, Mary Hill, Jenny Gag, John O'Donnell, as well as work by The Heap itself.

$3-6 Donation includes entry and event poster
