The Responsible Data Lab will be a 1-day hands-on lab that exposes photographers and photojournalists to approaches for navigating the ethical, privacy and security challenges they face in their work, and in today’s rapidly shifting digital landscape.
The lab is being organised by the Magnum Foundation and the Open Society Foundations Documentary Photography Project in collaboration with the engine room. The Magnum Foundation will invite approximately 25-35 documentary photographers and photojournalists working on projects that address critical social issues.
The lab will be free for selected participants, but we cannot cover travel costs.
