Joseph Kramer's Fall Newsletter

.fwd

Dear Erotic Explorer,

May bliss and excitement fill your days as autumn approaches. This Labor Day
email is being sent to customers and friends of Joseph Kramer, EroSpirit
Research Institute, and The New School of Erotic Touch.

After years of playing doctor, I finally became a doctor. I received my Ph.D. in
human sexuality this June. My doctoral dissertation focused on the erotic states
produced during a Taoist Erotic Massage. If you have had transformational
experiences with this form of erotic touch, you might benefit from my
explanation of how this massage works. My thesis is that Taoist Erotic Massage
allows us the freedom to make changes in our patterns of behavior. The
dissertation is available on disk or hard copy in the Erotic Massage section of
http://www.eroticmassage.com/.

My Ph.D. program in human sexuality tragically engaged me from the neck-up only.
Therefore, I proposed to the dean of my alma mater that all students have the
opportunity to take hands-on erotic bodywork training as a part of their
degrees. So in 2003, I will teach the first experiential graduate course in
"sexological" bodywork in the United States. Even without enrolling in a
graduate degree program, you can take this course for certification in San
Francisco or in Los Angeles. You can enjoy the course outline.at
http://www.eroticmassage.com/gradschool.

SEX COACHING is part of the experiential bodywork course described above. If you
are interested in this new profession, I am again offering INTRODUCTION TO
MASTURBATION COACHING–a five-session training by email beginning on October 15
for women and men. I believe that one-third of the folks who go to see
psychotherapists just need to learn to masturbate better. They don't need a
pyschotherapist. They need a masturbation coach.

Betty Dodson's video "Celebrating Orgasm" and my video "Evolutionary
Masturbation" are foundational for anyone interested in this career. Tuition for
the five-week email course is $20. You can learn more about this practical
training and register at http://www.eroticmassage.com/coaching/.

I have collected my favorite video clips of erotic massage on women into a DVD
anthology entitled "The Best of Vulva Massage." This DVD, available in
November, includes teaching segments from Annie Sprinkle, Kenneth Ray Stubbs,
Deborah Sundahl, Betty Dodson, Jack Painter, Deborah Anapol, Jwala, Victor Gold,
Suzie Heumann, Juliet Anderson, and me.

I am seeking erotically-gifted masseurs and masseuses from the San Francisco Bay
Area for four educational DVD/video projects. For those of you who are A+ erotic
bodyworkers but not local, I am interested in buying your erotic video footage.
I am offering up to $3000 for your excellence. Descriptions of the projects are
available at: http://www.eroticmassage.com/auditions/.

Be excellent to each other,

Joseph Kramer, Ph.D.

Kanindskij, you got nothing to lose so maybe force some people to comment in
public about G2K? Try BH for starters.

Everyone knows about it so you won't have to go far.

You deserve a slap across the face for that one,
dear Max. You are the one who hasn't got anything to lose,
baby. I'm not you. And I don't care for this 'dare-devil'
knee-jerk propaganda.

Go vote.

Could you be a bit more laughable in your behavior?
You're hardly a soldier, but you're attempting to play
general–just like Eryk Salvaggio.

I like certain qualities in what you do. Don't abuse it.

> Try BH for starters.

Force him yourself, Max. Isn't it more fun to learn to do it yourself?
Or should I send the Nepalese virgins to convince BH to comment on G2k?
I'd rather have them picking raspberries and washing their hands in rose
water.

> Everyone knows about it so you won't have to go far.

Do it yourself, love.
I am not 'participating' in your G2K project.
What's more if it hasn't become evident to you,
the extent of my communication has been to that degree.
G2K is YOUR project. Deal with it yourself.
And quit trying to play the 'leader'
before you even know what that's about.

And while you're at it, go to Joseph Kramer's Sex Seminar.
You might learn something.

Dear Talkback Readers:

I deputize you all to ask internet art and digital experts what they think
of Genius 2000. They all know about it already so you won't have to do any
cold-calling.

Start with Matt Mirapaul, [email protected], and Jon Ippolito at
wherever.

If anyone says they don't know what it is, tell them it's at genius2000.net
and www.geocities.com/genius-2000.

Other notables who know about it but won't pony up: Max Anderson, David
Ross, Christiane Paul, Mark Tribe, Wolfgang Staehle, any artist listed at
Rhizome.org or Thing.net, the Syracuse University New Media Department,
Peter von Brandenburg, Peter Weibel, Victoria Vesna, Mark Amerika, Joy
Garnett, Matthew Fuller, and more.

Everyone knows about Genius 2000 at the following lists: 7-11, Fluxlist,
Rhizome Raw, Thingist, Syndicate, Empyre, and Nettime.

You do not need to be concerned about your geographic location. Every
continent with arable land knows about Genius 2000, plus my friend who runs
the search and rescue department at the US North Pole Research Center,
Brennan Brunner.

Most people affiliated with YMCA Camp Widjiwagan also know me and my younger
sister Carter nee Herman.

If you are an entymologist or endocrinologist, you may know my father
William Herman; if you shop at plant nurseries in St. Paul MN you may know
my mother Charlotte. If you have tattoos you may know my sister Alex. If you
party in SF you may know my former bosses Peter Glikshtern and Dennis Ring,

No, sweetheart, I addressed your idiotic behavior in

Forcing others is an impossibility, dear. For generals or others.

No, you didn't. You wrapped your request inidiotic propaganda,
and you continue to do so–meanwhile posing as an 'innocent'.

I didn't say anything about liking you. Or disliking you.
I don't like or dislike humans, sorry.

Nobody can force anyone, dear. This is a delusion
of the brain, and 'thinking'. If you had any 'force'
he wouldn't have kicked you off.

Which is moronic. You're perceiving humans as slaves to

I meant, if BH already dislikes you you wouldn't lose anything by telling
him to address Genius 2000. I didn't mean you have nothing to lose in
general, or by advocating that people engage in talk about Genius 2000. I
don't have any problem at all if you really have something to lose by asking
people to talk about Genius 2000. I accept that you don't think it's very
good and don't want to be pushed around or cajoled or manipulated by me
asking if you want to do something.

This doesn't make sense. I have no internal impulses to tell anything
to BH about G2K.

Indicate it better.

I don't. Your statement didn't say that.

I never said anything of the sort. I pass no such simplistic judgements.
I simply have no interest in your attempt to turn me into G2K propaganda
seller. If I do it, you'll have to pay, and I'm not sure you can afford
the price.

No, Max. This is not what happened.
You presented me with a sloganish knee-jerk.
It was disrespectful.

I am not critical. Disernment is not the same as critical.
Clearly I am participating in G2K propaganda by talking to you, no?

This is one of the things you could do better.

No, it isn't. And it's not 'judgement' that regulates these matters.

I'm neither a villain, nora slave. That's yours and Eryk's

Short-circuited, Max? Just because I won't praise G2K.

Talking about yourself, dear.

Why, your teeth got broken on me Max?

Not not close. Precisely on.
Nor are you an authority. But you pose as one.

Oh dear, but I don't. We're back to finger-pointing.
The G2K kindergarten project.

> Chew on that hard, real hard, Kandinskij.

No thanks. It's invalid and idiotic.

Doubtful that. Just more self-aggrandizing posing.
Did I piss you off for not rallying under G2K?

> Sprankly I wanna live wit Sue. I cook and frame and paint and art.

No, you don't.

What's better you reveal yourself to be the qualities you despise
in THEM.

So much for not being part of the 'herd' baa, baa.

But then again, consciousness has never been about erroneous 'opinions'
on Nietzsche and bashing people over the head w/O having faced yourself
first.

The problems don't exist. I don't blame anything on "them" except in
that "they" are the people who aren't me, and I am trying to share my
questions and also trying to hear other peoples questions. I never said
there was a problem with "them." But sometimes people aren't even
interested in really discovering anything, and they are losing out on
some of the things that I call pretty and you call beautiful. I think
beauty is kind of a loaded word. I think something like a bird could get
crushed under all that weight.

>You want to change the world?

I want to change the way people see. The world will be fine when people
stop trying to change it and start trying to see it. I have a problem
with activism because it can be a kind of blindness, but at the same
time I support anything people can do to cause less suffering in peoples
lives.

>Here, let me put the 'World' on your 'shoulders' Atlas.

There's no gravity in space. The weight of the world is meaningless to
Atlas. It's all been a trick. There are no burdens.

I think that different dictionaries can describe the same thing and they
all describe nothing at the same time. Maybe Zen knows the underlying
code of reality is illusion. The West knows the structures of those
illusions. There's no reason not to try to understand them both. Why
don't you look at my art some time? Maybe then you'll have more insight
into the nature of what I say and what I do.

No, what you call pretty and I beautiful is not the same.
Don't attempt to alter the intent of my words;

It is. And it's not for everyone, at all times.

Hence a bird is not created to be a conscious being.

That's a bit too sloganish. But it does fine.

Most activism is blind stabbing and actually makes things worse.

Yes, there is.

Yes there are. But they're only burdens to those who wear inappropriate

No, it doesn't. The reference to 'illusion' is not the the 'underlying

is not a flat concept.
