The Digital Media Arts program at Hamline University, Saint Paul, MN seeks applicants for a tenure track, assistant professor position in Digital Media Arts.

The Digital Media Arts program is an emerging interdisciplinary program within the College of Liberal Arts with connections to programs of study across the University and focused on fostering critical engagement through production.

Qualifications
Seeking candidate with an MFA in Digital Media or closely related field, with possible specialization and teaching experience in web development, game design, physical computing, sound art, 3d animation, or other emerging technologies. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate evidence of teaching experience, artistic achievement, critical engagement with contemporary media/art practices, and a strong commitment to teaching in a liberal arts environment.

In addition to teaching production courses in digital media, the candidate will be expected to contribute to ongoing curriculum development, participate in the development and teaching of foundations and senior seminar courses, and assist with regular student portfolio reviews and advising. The ability to work closely with colleagues across the University and to actively engage in the life of the University is expected.
