AV Technical Assistant (Part Time, Hourly)

CultureHub, a not-for-profit Art & Technology center founded in partnership by La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club and The Seoul Institute of the Arts, seeks qualified audiovisual technicians who are interested in experimental new media/performance work, and who are eager to learn new streaming and mixed-media techniques. Required skills include:

• Videography: we work with pro and consumer cameras; EX3, HandyCam, Logitec
• Audio – live micing, audio capture, and mixing
• Knowledge of streaming/web based distribution platforms
• Strong trouble shooting and computer skills
• Some still photography may be needed – decent photography skills are a plus
• Post production – pref. Adobe premiere – is a plus
• 10-20 hours a week, ability to work some evenings and weekends is required

While we seek strong time based and live audio/video production skills, we also offer training in streaming/media production. Above all else, we seek someone energetic, inventive, open minded, and eager to try and learn new skills and techniques. $15/hourly starting, potential for growth.
