The Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts, Department of Studio Art invites applicants for a full-time, tenure track position with rank of Assistant Professor in Photography, to begin in the fall 2014.

We are seeking candidates with evidence of a national exhibition record and active professional achievement; experienced educators qualified to engage and communicate with students at BA, BFA, and MFA levels. A strong candidate will have demonstrated an ability to work successfully with students, faculty, administration and the community.

The successful candidate will play a major role in the development of a vibrant and evolving photography curriculum and should expect to participate in ongoing efforts to facilitate experimental and innovative approaches to contemporary discourse and practice.

The candidate must be able to teach all levels of photography/digital imaging, MFA and BFA seminars and critiques. Working experience of antique/alternative process favorable. Knowledge of critical theory, contemporary issues, and history of photography highly desirable
