Marygrove College Photography/Digital Imagery Show

The Gallery at Marygrove College is seeking submissions for their Photography and Digital Imagery exhibition opening January 19th, 2014. All styles of photography and digital imagery are welcomed for submission. The show seeks to showcase local photography and digital imagery talent. The show is curated by Marygrove Art Department Faculty member Karen Sanders.

Eligibility:
Show is open to all metro Detroit artists working in photography or digital imagery.

Entry Procedure:
Artists may submit up to five images for consideration by email only. Email entries to Janine Surma: [email protected]

Files must be in jpeg format, 72 dpi resolution, and no more than 2 mb.

Files should be named as follows: lastname_firstname_entrynumber.jpg (example: Smith_Jones_1.jpg)
Entries must be submitted by Friday, December 6. Jury results will be sent by email Friday, December, 20. Art work must be dropped off to the gallery no later than Friday, January 13 and must be ready to hang. The opening reception is Sunday, January 19, and the show runs through February 21. Artists can pick up their work starting the week of February 24.

Sales and Entry Fee:
There is no entry fee and Marygrove does not take commission for work sold.

The Marygrove Gallery is located on the 4th floor in the Liberal Arts building on the campus of Marygrove College. The space has 14 foot high ceilings and ten foot high windows, which create a spacious and well lit environment. A distinguishing feature of the Gallery is the solid bronze grillwork at the entrance of the exhibit space.

The Gallery Hours:
Monday - Friday: 10AM - 5PM
Saturday: 9AM - 3PM [or by appointment]
