Generations IX: The Red/Pink Show

A.I.R. Gallery is excited to formally invite artists to participate in our biennial fundraiser exhibition, Generations IX: The Red/Pink Show, from December 5, 2013 – January 4, 2014

Generations was first started to commemorate the 25th anniversary of A.I.R. Gallery in 1997, and we are now in our eighth incarnation of the show. The success of this exhibition depends on the strength and quality of the participating artists and we hope to exhibit a broad diversity of artwork created by women. Please interpret the red/pink theme in any way you want! Due to the limits of the space, no video. We are excited about your submission!

Please read the following information carefully as everything you need to know is listed below.


Entry & Deadline:
ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday November 8, 2013

$40 handling fee.

The entry form is only on the A.I.R. Gallery website.


Size Limitations:
The piece submitted must not exceed 14” in any dimension, including the frame. Easy-to-install sculpture shelves must be provided by artist and fit within size limitations.

A.I.R. reserves the right to refuse any work that does not fit the size limitation, is wet, is not properly prepared for hanging, or requires unusual installation.


Benefit & Sales:
The artist will retain 70% of their sales.

The remaining 30% will support A.I.R. Gallery's programming.

**This exhibition will be cash and carry. In the event that your artwork sells, you can replace the sold piece with a new piece, at no additional charge.


Delivery of Work:
Work must be delivered in person (no exceptions) on:

Sunday, December 1st 11-6pm OR Monday, December 2nd 11-2pm


Pick-up of Work:
Works that have not sold must be picked-up on (no exceptions):

Saturday, January 4th 11-6pm OR Sunday, January 5th 11-6pm

Opening Reception: Thursday, December 5, 2013 6-9pm
