'just for now' is a collection of transcribed texts from Benjamin's The Work
of Art in The Age of Mechanical Reproduction. The texts are handwritten
using a wacom tablet, so simultaneously, but slowly, they are digitised and
sometimes layered to illegibility.

'Andy and Anna' mixes old and new media in the forms of the 19thC novel Anna
Karenina and computer pattern recognition algorithms. The emotive text is
juxtaposed with and triggers a series of Warholian faces.

banksy's take on a number of issues from electronic tagging to the history
of civilisation. The site includes documentation and commentary on his
graffiti. His work draws attention to the ubiquity of signs in urban space
often through reappropriation.

This version of 'psycho' was included in a net.film site by bull.miletic.
Cosik's ascii text film stutters along; described by the shifting density of
the green text. This familiar film is rendered almost abstract throught its
transference to ascii.

'can you see me now'was a game that took place off line
and simultaneously online. A player was dropped onto a virtual map of
Sheffield city centre. Their location was mapped onto the real city centre
and transmitted by satellite to Blast Theory runners who used handheld
scanners to track down the player - physically moving through the city
centre. Once the player had been cornered, the physical space that the
player virtually occupied was photographed, producing eerie, empty
photographs of virtual presences.

'360 degrees' is a documentary site on crime and incarceration in USA. The
site aims to raise awareness and open dialogue by tackling this issue from
many perspectives. Voices include prisoners, judges, warders. The site
includes a fascinating timeline on criminology to give a context on current
positions.
