Swiss composer/pianist Sylvie Courvoisier, known for her work with John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Yuef Lateef, and Tim Berne presents the debut of her new work “LONELYVILLE”, featuring Ikue Mori, Mark Feldman, Vincent Courtois, and Gerald Cleaver. Hailed by the Wire as one of her strongest recordings yet, "Lonelyville" juxtaposes ferocious block chord barrages with pastoral violins and evocative electronics in a synthesis of classical form and improvisational Jazz freedom.
