Assistant Professor of Graphic Design, Interactive Media

The Department of Art and Design at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for Assistant Professor of Graphic Design with a focus in interactive media, beginning in Fall 2013. The faculty member will contribute to growing programs in Visual Communication Design and Media Arts and Game Development. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in digital foundations, web design, and design for mobile media, with potential assignments in 2-D foundations. Continued research and design activity, participation in student advising, and service to the Department, College, and University is required. A successful applicant will have strong communication skills, work effectively within a team environment, and demonstrate a dedication to ensuring excellence in curricular development, delivery, and improvement.
