Point taken. Who doesn't? I know that the US propagation machine is running
the biscuit. Anyway.

So I watch some TV, SNL, Jack Black sings "changin' the way historians think
about comedy." The Strokes later. But really, what is culture, what is
money, who is the King. Well money is art, but money isn't just art; it can
be science also. Comedy, TV rays, paint visions, writing content, laws, etc.
All the means at a given society's disposal.

Now a skit about some hypothetical mayor trying to corner the hemp market.
Hemp humor, sort of a mass shout-out for at least a few quasi-legal party
rights. A "don't panic" message about political corruption. Staged by the
CIA? Hard to make the case. Mainly because most functions are pre-G2K at
this juncture.

As we speak the military powers in the world are in charge. They have been
granted sweeping war powers. No one says "we're at war" or "are you fighting
in the war". More like, "are you serving in the provinces?"

So yes it's Kurtz and the Heart of Darkness, say "Drawing our darkness" as
Richard Ellis wrote. It's the absolute horror of existence.

I'm not sure what the debate is on Bush anyway. He has war powers and is
doing what he's been told and taught to do. The US public accepts the
legitimacy of his office, case closed.

Culture tilts in different directions, sometimes it goes military,
militarism, imperialism. Culture has not really proven to drive history
however, so in a sense we are watching the inevitable providence of the
planet. Often inertia controls history.

All good in the G2K hood, in fact keep flyin' 100%,
