Artists of all types of practice and media are invited to submit a site-specific project for the space of P8 cooperative art gallery in Jaffa. The project may be any kind of artistic action – show, installation, performance, publication, curatorial project, public intervention – as long as it is planned specifically for the P8 space and/or its immediate surroundings. The notion of “site specific” can include aspects beyond the physical gallery space: artists are encouraged to interpret it and fill it with meaning.
The submission should include:
- Description of the technical and conceptual aspects of the project (up to 1 page)
- Sketches or any other visual material to support the proposal
- Budget estimation
- Portfolio: 10 recent works from the last two years in a PDF file.
Video files (up to 5 min. total) should be uploaded to Youtube or Vimeo.
Gallery can be visited during the usual opening hours: Wednesday-Thursday 16:00-19:00, Friday-Saturday 11:00-14:00.
