Sorry max, I think you missed the point. Incidentally the show was called IN
QUEST OF THE ABSOLUTE and Peter Blum published a book by the same name at the
time of the show. Erich Franz wrote the text.

I think he took three swings at the point and missed each time. Try
absolute=univeral not absolute
