Manager of Academic Web resources / Web development

We are looking for someone familiar enough with the changing horizon of the technically possible, the specific needs of an academic institution and possessing the technical ability to implement changes. Regular responsibilities will include supervision of web pages, including maintenance of material and responsibility for insuring updates. The Manager of Academic Web resources will report to the Chair of Academic Programs and to the Dean for Academic Administration, but will interact on a regular basis with faculty and assist faculty with their web efforts. Secondary responsibility will be to maintain, support and troubleshoot classroom technology (digital projectors, slide projectors, etc.) independently and with others.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be experienced in working with an academic faculty. Editorial skills, and supervised oversight of the department’s annual academic catalogue are also a part of the portfolio for this position.
