marginalia+lab art / sci / tech international residencies

Open call for the International Art Residency Program of Marginalia+lab, medialab created in 2009 located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Four residents - artists, amateurs, researchers and enthusiasts from several fields- will be selected to develop experimental proposals during two-month residencies (from june to november) dealing with the intersections of art, science and technology. This call will select two proponents from Brazil and two international ones.

The selected proponents will be supported by an stipend of R$5.000,00 (approximately US$2,500.00) and development structure (including technical support from Marginalia's tech team and full access to the laboratory and its infrastructure), besides accommodation and travel assistance for those who don’t live in Belo Horizonte.

Projects developed during the residencies will be exhibited in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in November, 2012.

Submissions from Brazilian proponents will be accepted until May 20, 2012. International proponents can send their projects until June 10, 2012. Submissions can be made through the online form available at http://marginalialab.com
