Important dates:

Exhibition at CPAC: May 25 – July 7, 2012
Deadline for entries – Wednesday, April 25
Notification of Juror’s choices – the week of May 1st
Deadline for work to arrive at gallery: Friday, May 18th (postal/courier delivery) or Saturday, May 19 (hand delivery)

CPAC’s goals are to nurture talent and to benefit our existing photographic culture by expanding concepts and generating interest in the medium we all love and support. Every year, to that end, CPAC showcases works by its member photographers. This 2012 exhibition is especially significant in that it showcases long-time supporters as well as members of the “New CPAC” who have joined in droves since CPAC merged with Working with Artists.

Guidelines:

This is an open-themed show. Any and all subject matter is eligible.

This exhibition is open to current CPAC members only. Other membership benefits can be found on our website www.cpacphoto.org.

All lens-based images are eligible, including but not limited to images made with digital camera, film camera, cell phone, video camera, screen-capture, etc.

A Purchase Award of up to $300 will be given for Best of Show. Three Honorable Mention awards of $50 each will also be made. The purchased image will be included in CPAC’s permanent Fine Print Collection.

There is no entry fee for members submitting up to 3 images. Additional images may be entered for a fee of $5 each. Make checks payable to “CPAC”; credit card payments can be made by phone to 303-837-1341. Payment can also be made on-line on the CPAC web site, “2012 Members’ Exhibition” page. Checks and phone payments are preferred.

*Jpeg submissions due no later than 5pm MST on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Send via email to [email protected]. CD's can be delivered or mailed to CPAC, 445 South Saulsbury St, Belmar Block 7, Lakewood CO, 80226.

*Artists MUST title their jpeg entries with their Last name and first initial first, example: SmithJ_title.jpg Improperly titled jpegs will not be accepted.

*Jpegs should not exceed 2.5MB in size and 800 pixels on the longest dimension.

*Attach or include your entry form with your submission. Entry forms can be found on our web site under the “Exhibitions/2012 Members’ Show” menu.

*Exhibition print sizes must be specified.

*The Gallery reserves the right to reject any work not printed or framed at a professional level. The Gallery also understands that work may be presented in a non-traditional way that is integral to the art. Please contact us in advance if you feel your work fits into these criteria.

*Selections for the exhibitions will be announced the week of May 1st.

*Framed work must be received by the gallery no later than 5pm Friday, May 18th (for delivery service) or Saturday, May 19th (for hand delivery).

*In the event of sales, CPAC will charge a 30% commission.

*Artists shipping work must use reusable packing materials and purchase shipping to and from the gallery.
