In this class participants will learn how to create more complex prints utilizing Monotype. The fast nature of plate creation with this medium allows an artist to spend more time focusing on other techniques and aesthetics. Participants will utilize various forms of more advanced registration and create prints that have multiple plate runs through the press. Combining those techniques with ghosting, ink modification, printing either wet or dry mixed with Chine-Collé will be demonstrated and encouraged.
