Scott Paterson is an architect and artist-in-residence at Eyebeam Atelier. Currently in practice as a freelance Information Architect and Interaction Designer in New York City, he studied architecture at the University of Minnesota CALA and Columbia University GSAP. He is on the faculty of Parsons School of Design where he teaches Interface Design, Multimedia Studios and Thesis in the MFA in Design and Technology Program.
His work explores architecture as an interface protocol between the activity of our daily lives and the space of the network. Recent projects include two projects for handheld PDA\\\\\\\'s and a curatorial information environment for MassMoCA. An active member of the net.art community including Rhizome.org and Mindspace.net, his work has been exhibited in Mexico City, Florence, New York and at the Banff Centre for the Arts.
