Scott F. Hall is an artist and designer who works in sculpture, video, still images, sound, music, and luthiery; he has been ranked by one source as the fifth weirdest musical instrument maker of all time. Hall is also well-known as an archivist of early hybrid jet engines and for his research and experimentation in even more esoteric areas such as free energy. Hall has taught at Cogswell Polytechnical College, SUNY Alfred, and is associate professor of art and design at the University of Central Florida.
