Art & Code 8 at Public Works Administration

This exhibition presents works by artists Stephen Kwok, Lai Yi Ohlsen, Yehwan Song, Woody Sullender, Cassie Tarakajian, Roopa Vasudevan, Carrie Sijia Wang, and Rosalie Yu as part of the Art & Code residency track, a collaboration between NEW INC and Rhizome. The Art & Code track is a space for artists, designers, researchers, and technologists to redefine the artistic landscape through internet-based practice. Rhizome Curator Celine Wong Katzman served as mentor for this years' cohort. Works on view include an interactive banjo experience, a map of the internet, a haunted kiddie ride, and more!
NEW INC is the first museum-led cultural incubator, which supports a diverse range of creative practitioners with a values-driven program and safe space for gathering and developing creative projects and businesses. Since its founding in 2014, Rhizome has been an anchor tenant of NEW INC.
