New Media Meeting 3 - NMM kicks off this week in Norrköping, Sweden. This year's festival includes around 50 international artists, hackers, DJs, VJs, researchers, media-activists, designers, movie producers, etc. from more than 10 countries. Alt_Cph: Platform for Nordic Non-profit Art Spaces- Alt_Cph takes place this weekend in Copenhagen. Proposed as a platform for collaboration and discussion between non-profit art spaces, 18 organizations from Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark will participate in the fair. Alt_Cph's organizers introduced a thematic concept this year for the first time, that of ephemeral art practices such as sound art, performance, activism and net art.
Intermission at Threshold artspace- New exhibition curated by Iliyana Nedkova at Threshold Artspace opens this week. "In this exhibition contemporary artists with diverse attitudes toward the cinematic approach the intermission as an opportunity to dwell upon our perceptions of abstract and conceptual art -- art which is almost embedded into the urban architecture all around us.
