Harkness Audiovisual presents its autumn salon, focusing on an "installation performance" of François Boué's UR-HAUS, recently presented at Markus Winter Gallery, Berlin.

UR-HAUS is an ongoing series whereby simple, strong architectural forms and their environs are documented in stillness onto motion-filled celluloid to “evoke the myth of the primitive hut.” Displayed as film loops and photographs like archeological findings for future generations, the imagery undergoes real-time visual analysis, innervation, and reprojection by Andy Graydon. Live sound interaction by Brooke Hamre Gillespie (guitar, voice, musical books) Zach Layton (banjo, electronics), and Ben Owen (amplified objects, electronics, laptop).
