The FLAMIN Fellowship is a development and commissioning opportunity for early-career artist filmmakers living in England. Delivered by Film London Artists’ Moving image Network (FLAMIN), who have commissioned over 150 artists’ films and run the prestigious annual Jarman Award, each year the Fellowship offer 6 artists:
- £2,500 development funding
- Monthly professional practice workshops
- One-to-one mentoring with Pinky Ghundale
- Promotion and screening opportunities

The FLAMIN Fellowship offers a unique opportunity in developing professional artistic practice with a series of monthly workshops, which cover key areas including selling artwork, film festival strategy, writing funding applications, archiving your work, sound design, insurance, copyright and sustaining a practice. Previous workshop speakers have included established artists Larry Achiampong, Esther Johnson, Onyeka Igwe, Noor Afshan Mirza & Brad Butler, Hetain Patel, Imran Perretta, Heather Phillipson and Marianna Simnett, as well as representatives from UK arts organisations ACME Studios, Arts Council England, Artquest, Auguste Orts, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival, BFI, CPH:DOX, DACS, Film and Video Umbrella, Forma, Jerwood Arts, Kate MacGarry Gallery, LUX, Tate, Vdrome and the Wellcome Trust.
