Open Call for Artist-in-residency programme at Kintai Arts

Kintai Arts is announcing an Open Call for artists, curators and researchers for an arts residency in Kintai in May-June 2021. This residency provides a possibility to live in Kintai while working on an individual project.

Applicants, willing to apply for this Open Call, are invited to submit their Bio or CV, a portfolio with work samples, and a motivational letter by March 31, 2021, by filling out this form:

Selected candidates will be informed shortly after the application deadline.

Applicants are asked to submit a motivational letter, in which they have to define their goals for this residency as well as provide a description of the individual project they will be working on during their stay at Kintai Arts residence. Please also explain how this residency will contribute to your career in general and define what minimal work and living conditions you expect.

The duration of the residency is up to two months, in between May 1 and July 1, 2021. Also possible to stay for 1-month (between May 1 and May 29 or between June 3 and July 1, 2021).

Up to 10 people can fit in the residency at the same time.

Therefore, in the registration form, please clearly indicate the planned dates of your stay.

Selection criteria: a clearly defined individual project description, substantiated by the relevant career experience. Candidates must have good knowledge of English language.

Following the requirements and restrictions of the Lithuanian Health Ministry, only those applicants, all selected applicants arriving to the residency, must provide a proof that they are not sick with Covid-19 when arriving to the residency (this can be a negative test result, a vaccination record, etc.).
