Position Description
The OU School of Visual Arts (University of Oklahoma) invites qualified candidates to apply for a full-time, tenure track position as Assistant/Associate Professor in Art, Technology, & Culture.

We seek an innovative artist and educator to support the growth and development of the Art, Technology & Culture area of the school. Art, Technology & Culture incorporates media arts, including photography, video, animation, and emerging technologies. The new hire will advance the ATC program in the direction of further developing technologies and experimental programming. Areas of expertise could include: Art Game Production, Creative Technology, Aesthetic Computing, Procedural Narrative, Net Art or other art technology fields of study.

The appointed faculty member will be expected to engage in academic and professional service, contribute to curriculum development, contribute to mentorship and advisement of students, participate in departmental MFA critiques and theses, and work collaboratively with other areas of the school (Studio Art, Design, and Art History). The 2/2 course load will encompass teaching at all levels in the program. The position, starting on 16 August 2021, offers a competitive salary, start-up funding, and research support.
