Ojo de Agua Film Festival

After being humbled in 2018 by the works of filmmakers in Mexico and the US, we are happy to announce our 2nd call for entries!

As humanity continues to shed the paradigms of scarcity and fear, we begin to ask ourselves: where is there plenty? How can we share the bounty of this world with ourselves and others? We invite artists to answer such questions by submitting video work that corresponds to this year’s theme of ABUNDANCE!

+ No entry fee.
+ Films of all genres and styles—comedy, documentary, experimental, narrative, etc— will be considered.
+ Short films only (30 mins or less).
+ Each applicant may submit up to 3 short films via Vimeo, Youtube or your personal website.
+ Works that are not in the Spanish language must have Spanish subtitles within 3 weeks of acceptance.
Include an artist statement (200 words max).
