Open Call for Applicants: DE-CONSTRUKT [projekts] Winter 2018 Residency Program

Live, work and engage with the local community of Red Hook, Brooklyn at our studio DE-CONSTRUKT. Share a spacious 2600 sq. ft. loft with skylights, a photography darkroom, art book library, wet sinks, and event space. Private, fully-furnished bedrooms, one with a separate studio, with shared bathroom and kitchen. Accessible on-street parking and roof access with a view of Manhattan.

We provide a space to develop new ideas, create temporal work and encouragement to form new networks.

All participants must make a public event in Red Hook, and/or work within the community. We will work with each resident to organize their event and will publicize it in our newsletter, website and social media.

Artists are required to stay at least 2 weeks, but are encouraged to stay for one month, or more if desired.

Residency fee for two weeks $625 for a private bedroom with a large studio or $500 for a private bedroom. Residency fee must be paid in full before arrival. Artists are responsible for all expenses including supplies and travel.
