Curated by Davide Anni, Reality Mediality Virtuality presents works by the artist Ennio Bertrand.
Since the mid-1980s, the Piedmontese artist has skillfully exploredtechniques and skills while developing an explicit interesting for interactivity, and the infinite possibilities for New Media Art language.
Inside Bertrand's universe, variable media and time dimension are essential properties of his artworks, made of hardware and software, where reality, mediality, and virtuality are interwoven.
Bertrand's art poses interesting questions, in terms of collecting and exhibition, in addition to preservation and time accessibility.
The seven artworks selected from his repertory, which ranges from multimedia installations to Net Art, were made over the last 20 years and are linked by a manipulation of media.
