Web Administrator
The Web Administrator manages and maintains the SMFA Web site and, working closely with members of the Communications department, implements online communications efforts directed at external audiences. Oversees the Content Management System (CMS), which includes managing and creating pages and sections, creating and maintaining forms, using systems technology to automatically develop and deliver content to the site, and ensuring content workflow and intake is occurring smoothly. Supports 40 CMS users, trains new users. Serves as the liaison to Web services vendors. Ensures uniformity of design and content and cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility. Tracks and evaluates Web traffic. When needed, assists in the production of bulk news e-mails.

Basic requirements: Bachelor's degree and three or more years of related work experience. Additional requirements: Knowledge of HTML, RSS, Photoshop and other web-related applications; solid knowledge and understanding of current Web Standards; ability to work collaboratively with administrative departments and other Communications staff members; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work both independently and as a member of a team in a busy office; and ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks from multiple sources, and to meet deadlines. Preferred: Familiarity with content management software a plus.
