Squeaky Wheel's Outdoor Animation Festival

Squeaky Wheel's Outdoor Animation Festival is a free event that annually brings out close to 300 people to enjoy animations by artists from around the world underneath a blanket of stars in Days Park (Buffalo, NY).

This year, the Festival is turning 10 and you're invited to help us fill the screen with funfetti-tastic birthday present animations and illuminate the night with technicolor screen dream eye-cake! Submissions can be any genre or style of animation, under 5 minutes, and must be suitable for a family friendly setting. Emerging artists are encouraged to submit work and there is no submission fee!

Submissions are accepted by email only. They must include a link to the video online (YouTube/Vimeo/etc.), a short artist bio, link to artist site, and a 2-3 sentence description of the submitted work in the body of the email. Send submissions to [email protected] with ANIMATION FESTIVAL SUBMISSION 2013 in the subject line. Selected participants will be notified in June 2013 and a Hi-res Quicktime file will be requested.

The Animation Festival will be taking place in Days Park (Buffalo, NY) on Saturday July 27, and an encore presentation will be shown at Canalside (Buffalo, NY) on Wednesday August 21.
