Campos de Gutiérrez is inviting artists, designers, art historians, and curators to apply to its residency program housed in a 19th century coffee plantation in the foothills of Medellin. The residence is located within a natural reserve 25 minutes away from the downtown area.
The selected residents will be provided with the following: Private lodging with unlimited studio access; Studio visits from guest critics in addition to optional weekly critiques; Weekly guided trips to sites of interest in Medellin; Access to the Campos de Gutiérrez Library; An exhibition or a talk.
A curatorial committee will review the applications and six to eight residents will be selected for the second session of 2012, which runs from April until June. The proposals should be made to begin after April first and end before June 30th, 2012. The minimum amount of time for a residency is six weeks. Please follow the link below to learn more about the application process. For more information visit our website or contact us directly.
