  • The ArtBase is an online archive of digital and new media artworks. Founded in 1999, the ArtBase is the largest and most comprehensive online art resource of its kind, encompassing works that employ software, websites, code and moving image amongst many other digital materials. The ArtBase collection is notable for its diversity and internationalism; the works included are far-ranging conceptually and formally, and made by a global constituency. The ArtBase is curated by Rhizome staff who evaluate submissions based on a set of criteria which can be read here
  • The TextBase contains all the messages that have been posted to Rhizome's mailing lists since 1999. As Rhizome lists are used as a forum for exchange between new media artists, critics, curators and enthusiasts, the TextBase contains a significant amount of critical dialogue around new art works, exhibitions, ideas and trends in new media art. All writing commissioned by Rhizome -- reviews, interviews, essays -- is available here. The TextBase also contains announcements and opportunities listings.
  • The Member Directory contains hundreds of personal profiles for Rhizome Members that list biographical and professional information. Member profiles also detail the contributions, be they art works or writing, that each member has made to Rhizome's mailing lists or archives. Both individual Members and also those who have membership through an Organizational Subscription are represented here. The Member Directory allows Rhizome's wide online public to view particular artists and curators in more detail, and also for our Members to connect with each other across artistic interest, geographic area or profession.
  • Rhizome News is our popular new media art publication delivered three times a week via RSS and email. Each Rhizome News story covers an event, artist project, exhibition or trend happening in the global new media art field. Rhizome News is contributed to by an international array of writers, and managed by Rhizome's Editor and Curator-at-Large Marisa Olson.
