YAN Yan was born in 1985 in Hangzhou, China. Growing up he was closest to his maternal grandmother. When his maternal grandmother died in 1995, he gradually became close with his paternal grandmother as well. YAN Yan was born on September and is a Virgo.
YAN Yan attended public schools in Palo Alto and Davis, California before attending Columbia University in 2004. He played a lot of computer games when he was young and was sort of an addict. He later on shed this problem and devoted his time more to art and literature.
YAN Yan is very fond of both his early education in China where he saluted to Mao and Lenin every morning as well as his public school education in California when he could drive to In & Out everyday for lunch for their deliciously fresh grilled cheese sandwiches. He is also fond of music in public school as well as the punk rock that many American kids were so fond of. YAN Yan always wished he was a skater but has yet to this day mastered the nuances of the board.
