Great idea! Aussie drag racing fame. I like it. Believe it or not though, I've already done a similar thing. A popular 'Steven Read' variation out there on google world wide is the unicorn painter Steve Read. He has done franklin mint plates and posters with unicorns, really cheesy mod-rococo stuff. Years ago, before the retro-unicorn-haha thing really came back with the hipster scene, I impersonated Steve Read the unicorn artist via emails. I was getting these emails from people looking for him, as they would find an artist website with a similar name and email me for information on where to buy my unicorn art. I would usually just ping a few confusing emails back with them, and then give up and disappear before it got too deep, it was too weird. Doing this I even secured some commissions to do other horse art like horse show/breeding trophies and such. But of course never actually took payment on them and never planned to do them, just messed around with the art transactions Ray Johnson style. I could have taken the idea much farther, but it was just a short flirt, didn't want to disrupt sales too much in the unicorn industry.

But drag racing concept sounds timely! Maybe I could challenge Matthew Barney to a race, as long as he doesn't have the scrotum sack hanging off his racer I'm OK with trying.
BTW...Denver is a couple miles just EAST of the Rockies :)

I didn't say they blocked my entire site, I said they blocked my home page. Probably their next step is to blacklist my whole site. None of the hits you saw on google were links to my home page. Even though I own my name dot com (stevenread.com), even though it has decent google page rank, even though my home page has been the top hit when searching for my name for 4 or 5 years, even though it is the most obvious web result when searching for my name, it has now disappeared completely because of the spam art being posted there. I have just given you the burden of proof for my art, even though my Conclusivity Theory which is sweeping the nation, defines that I should not be giving out such proof, these actions are still allowable as it helps to ensure inconsistency and thus conclusiveness. People being able to google my name is very important because the next round of Whitney curators are out there searching right now, and I know they need to find me. Erika, thank you for supporting my successful failure and failed success, you are the true winner.

Google has manually pulled my Art Website Home Page from their search results! Those idiots saw my Art there which plays with the concepts of Search Engine Optimization and Information Spamming, and of course they took it as a real Spam Website and then blocked me. They blocked an artist who is making absolutely no money from his Art or his Website, they blocked Art, and they blocked you from finding me. Do you see any ads on my site? Do you see anything for sale there? Why block me? The Art which I publish on my Blog, is clearly Art not Spam. It is Beautiful Information. Well anyways, it was my aim from the beginning for this to eventually happen, so it's all good. I, like the MC Hammer, cannot be touched. Internet Art Career Destruction has been a priority for a long time. Get the word out. It is finally working, I am finally getting absolutely fucking nowhere with my Art Career on the Net. I have finally figured out how to go backwards when using technology as an Art Career Networking Tool. This is DEL ICIO US! Be my friend and share my linx and help me get into shows please! I have been walking a fine line between Art and Spam, and I have apparently crossed the line into BLISS. I consider this to be a great success! But my art career is ruined.

RE: new Treewave Software

Made one of those a few years ago, was submitted here at rhizome for their commissions contest, and has been up at my site since. Almost word for word... a software-based music sequencer with unique timing/looping mechanisms to create abstract real-time multi-channel randomly-generated loop remixes using a large pool of sound sources. Weird.
