Vincent Romaniello

After working in San Francisco for 14 years for publications like The Bay Guardian and Metro Magazine, Vincent moved to New York City where he concentrated his studies on painting at the School of Visual Arts and the New York Academy. He has exhibited his artwork nationally and internationally including the Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea, Florence, Italy; Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia, PA; Roger Smith Gallery, New York, NY; Butters Gallery Ltd., Portland OR; Bentley Projects, Phoenix, AZ and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, WI.

In 2008, Sage Projects was founded by Vincent and in early 2009 the group opened a co-op gallery operated by it's members. The space was a repurposed retail store that was on loan for an eight month period during which time over 200 under-recognized artists were given an opportunity to exhibit their work.

From 2004 until the present Vincent has documented the work of over 50 artists and art groups on videotape and presented the work via the internet, in exhibition,screenings and on cable television.

Vincent has been the recipient of honors from Chashama NYC (residency), The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, The State Museum of Harrisburg, The Wood Turning Center (2 residencies) Philadelphia, PA and others. His work is in private collections around the world as well as public and corporate collections that include: Coventry Corporation, Fort Washington, PA; The Park Hyatt at The Bellevue in Philadelphia, PA; Morgan Lewis, Philadelphia, PA.
