Robert A. Emmons Jr. is a documentarian of American Culture. Utilizing the realms of film, essay, music video, or performance art, Emmons focuses on the artistic and aesthetic reality underlying American life in the Modern Age. He has published and presented writings and films about digital/new media, documentary as art, comic books, and the small town experience. He is the Senior Program Coordinator of the Honors College at Rutgers University, where he also teaches film and video. He received his MA from Rutgers University-Camden, and he is currently attending Drew University for his doctorate.
