Born in Madrid in 1965. Graduated in Philosophy and Letters for the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Since 1999 he gets specialized in web designer and in digital and electronic art being professor in different design schools in Barcelona. Iglesias is one of the Spanish artists of reference in digital art, best known as net.art. The Ricardo Iglesias works are a complex metaphor about the functionality of society and the own net. About his net.art projects are to stand out "Nosotras las putas" (Us the whores) and the interactive installation "Esfera Tecno-Humana" (Tecno-Human Sphere) and his second stage "Argonautas" (Argonauts) that Galeria Metropolitana de Barcelona presented in New Arty 2001 and in Arco 2002 and LOOP'00 (2003) first video art fair and festival. in 2006 won the Price ARCO-Arte Electrónico with "Independent robotic community
