Since 2007

Architect, author, photographer, artist. Born New York, New York (27 August 1963). Began painting, drawing, and photography around 1974 with the support of the Senecia Arts Center, Middletown, New York. Continued with drawing, collage, and photography while attending Middletown High School and Orange County Community College (1976-81). As an undergraduate at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York (1981-85), continued with drawing, photography, and collage, but also began study of design and printmaking (lithography). Graduated with a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering in June 1985. As a graduate student at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri, persued design, drawing, collage, photography, printmaking (wood block, linocut, etching, & monoprint), and many experimental approaches to the creative process. Graduated June 1990 with a Master of Architecture degree. Continued drawing, painting, photography, and collage alongside my professional architectural design pursuits. First solo exhibition of photography: Ethical Society of Saint Louis, 13 June - 29 August 2007.
