Rachel wrote a book on internet art for thames & hudson's well-known WORLD OF ART series: it was published in June 2004. She was a consultant and catalogue author for the 2004 Whitney Biennial. She has also written for publications including frieze, artforum, timeout and bomb.

I sent you a few weeks ago pre-invitation to the 5th Anniversary of Media
Centre Lume. The final program is now ready:

The invitation:

Lume is the National Research and Development Centre of audiovisual media,
of the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Finland. The festival week
takes place on January 26th - 29th, 2005.

Lume gathers under the same roof students and researchers of film and
television, design for theatre, and new media. Creating networks and
supporting collaboration is one of the crucial tasks of the centre and
thus the theme of the week will be AFFAIRS.

The festival week consist of high-level seminars with quick-paced revolver
panels, Anniversary parties, demos of the latest gizmos, movie and media
art highlights. All the events are free of charge.
