Peggy MacKinnon is a professional communicator who works and lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Freelance work includes newspaper feature writing and book reviews for the Halifax Herald; art reviews and features for Visual Arts Nova Scotia, Arts Atlantic and Rhizome.org; art catalogue essays for Eyelevel Gallery, Mount Saint Vincent University Art Gallery and The Khyber centre for the arts. In 2003 she researched and authored a teacher's manual entitled Canadian Governments which was published as part of Scholastic Canada Limited's Social Studies Through Literature series. Research contracts include research support in connection with various published works by Dr. Steven Bruhm (Reflecting Narcissus: A Queer Aesthetic) and Dr. Peter Schwenger (The Tears of Things).
