I am an artist and a computational biologist interested in fusing scientific methods, biotechnology and visual art. My education is in visual studies and biomedical engineering, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in quantitative and computational biology at Princeton University.

Over the last decade, I have experimented with 8 mm film, Hi8, VHS, and digital video to produce experimental works that reconsider narrative, linearity and non-fiction. More recently, I have been exploring new media by creating interactive installations, designing an emergent interface, and teaching media theory and practice.
