MyORB

We are an art + design practice based in New York City. Our projects vary from commissioned pieces such as identities, websites, posters, animations and illustrations to an output of self-published work. The work spans across various platforms such as print and interactive, but also includes installations and workshops. We aim for our work to be curious, intriguing and playful.

Lucie Kim

Born as Lucie Ederova in Prague (Czech Republic), she moved to Munich (Germany) at the age of three and was raised as Lucie Eder in an effort to adapt her name to its German Heritage. After her marriage in 2009 she changed her name to Lucie Kim in order to fool everyone into thinking she is Korean. She lives and works in New York City.

She has a BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and received a MFA from London’s Chelsea College of Art. In 2005 she established the art + design practice MyORB. She currently teaches at Parsons the New School for Design and guest lectured at its affiliate in Japan. In 2008 she founded the bi - monthly workshop 247.
