Michael Lent is an artist and researcher focused on an integrated practice, specifically concerning an economy of knowledge and an opposing potentiality of experience. His research has been presented widely in prestigious venues such as Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, University of Minho in Portugal, and the Royal Geographical Society in London alongside exhibitions at the Bluecoat in Liverpool as well as the Albright-Knox and MASS MoCA in the USA. Lent completed a practice-led PhD in Fine Art at the University of Lincoln in the UK. He earned an MFA at Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont and BFA at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia both in the USA. Lent is currently Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at Teesside University in the UK where he serves as course leader for the masters programme in fine art.
