I started a group some time ago on Flickr in response to some rather snobbish and philistine comments by James Elkins in his recent(ish) book on photography.
If you have a moment please take a look at the little polemic posted there and if you agree, join and post a single image to the group...

It's not so much an attack on Elkins as a defence of imagination, the network and porous boundaries in what constitutes "art"...
